SinglesSwag is a monthly women’s lifestyle subscription box that includes an array of organic beauty products, delicious treats, jewelry & accessories and other special surprises to uplift and empower single women.
SinglesSwag offers two subscription boxes:
- SinglesSwag Petite – includes 3-4 full size products for $24.99 per month
- SinglesSwag – includes 5-7 full size products for $39.99 per month
SinglesSwag’s April box is curated around the idea of self care. The included card comes with detailed information on all the items plus pricing per item, and a total retail value. This month’s box has a total retail value of $210, while the box only costs $39.99 per month. So let’s talk about some of those awesome products!
Kevia Style Love Jewlery Dish ($22)
This small jewelry plate has a 4″ diameter and reads “love” in script, with little arrows on either side. The plate doesn’t feel too delicate so it feels like it could withstand every day use. It’s definitely jewelry sized, so would be good for storing every day jewelry on your vanity or perhaps by the sink for holding rings while washing dishes.
Mollie Jacob Legendary Eyes Mascara ($27)
The Mollie Jacob website boasts that this mascara is cruelty and paraben free, which is something I always appreciate in a makeup product. It’s got a thick wand but applies on smoothly and doesn’t leave eyelashes with that fake, crunchy feeling. I really liked this mascara and considering I use it every day, I love getting new ones in subscription boxes.
Ava + Kris Meg Ruby Red Snake Purse ($38)
This purse is a little too flamboyant for me personally, but I do think it feels like a good item for gifting if it doesn’t match your style, and feels like a good fit for the Singles Swag brand! It’s got a red snakeskin like texture outer-body and the inside is a single pocket lined with cloth. It’s a good bag for going to a bar etc. as it will hold just the necessities–cards and keys. If you have a smaller phone, you may be able to sneak it inside as well. This is also a miss for me as I have to carry emergency medical supplies at all times, so this is definitely not great for those with diabetes, epi-pens, etc.!
Lark Fine Foods Coconut Butter Cookies ($5)
Yum, cookies! These delicious cookies were a fun addition to the self-care theme. The cookies are crunchy and absolutely have a coconut butter taste. The cookies contain coconut, eggs, wheat, and milk and there are three servings per container, at 140 calories and 17g of carbohydrates per serving.
Madeline Elizabeth Fern Vine Bracelet ($65)
I absolutely loved this bracelet and was very sad that the bracelet was just far too big on me. For those with smaller wrists, you might struggle with this one, as even on the smallest wrung it could definitely slide off my wrist. The 7″ chain has a lobster clasp and a 2.5″ extender. The bracelet features a delicate fern design with an 18K gold plated finish. Note that the fern design only measures 1.5″ and the rest of the bracelet is a dainty chain. The bracelet came in a cute cloth bag making it good for gifting, and included a coupon for 25% off your first order.
Baronessa Cali Olivia Farmscia Hand Cream ($22)
I am one of those people who can never have too many small hand creams, as my skin gets dry very easily. I love that this hand cream features olive oil and feels super light-weight. It’s aromatic and small enough to easily toss in your purse.
Oryza Beauty Dewy Glow Balm ($16)
I love that this balm is all-purpose, for skin, nails, and lips! It;s got UVA and UVB filters for sun protection and is supposed to be great for sensitive skin. They recommend using it for general use and/or for adding a dewy glow to makeup. This product is also 100% cruelty free. Since this is multi-purpose, I love carrying this one around so I don’t have to worry about transferring my hand lotion and my chapstick from purse to purse.
South Mane Revitalizing Eye Gels Set ($15)
I’ve noticed that under eye pads have been a recent theme in subscription boxes, and I love it! These gels are good for reducing puffiness, dark circles, and moisturizing. For best results, they recommend using for three consecutive days, meaning that this 3 pack would be good to use perhaps three days before a big event. I definitely noticed some improvement after using these and felt generally refreshed, too, which is always nice.
Overall, I liked this month’s SinglesSwag box but it wasn’t my favorite of recent months. The two high-ticket items were misses for me this month, since the snakeskin purse is absolutely not my style and too small for my needs and the bracelet was far too big for my wrist. However, both of those items will be great for gifting, and I will use all of the makeup related items and loved the cookies, so that’s a plus. While this month’s box wasn’t my favorite, I do think the value was still there at $210 worth of items for a cost of $39.99, and even without the two high ticket items for me the total item value was still higher than the cost of the box! SinglesSwag is a great box for those looking for a little more fun in their life and I appreciate that this month’s focus was all about self-care and how essential it is.
