Apto Skincare Pomegranate Mask – $36 value
I’m always happy to try new skincare products so I was eager to give this Apto Skincare mask a go! This yellow-hued mask is rich in antioxidants, azelaic acid from barley, and pomegranate to calm skin, naturally exfoliate, and fight free radical damage. The grainy formula is creamy and semi-dries after a few minutes after which you’re supposed to wash it off with warm water and follow with moisturizer. This left my skin noticeably smoother and even so I will continue use!
Ciate London Dewy Stix in Glow – $26 value
Next up is Ciate’s Dewy Stix in Glow. This oversized chunky stick houses a soft, glossy illuminator that adds instant glow to skin. The formula is clear and balmy so it’s easy to apply & blend, and looks super natural. It’s shimmery not glittery so skin looks dewy and glowy with just a few swipes!
Trestique Good Vibes Mascara – $25 value
Also in this box is this interesting mascara/eyelash curler hybrid. One side features a mini eyelash curler and the other side is black mascara. While I like the idea it took me a little while to get the hang of the eyelash curler since it’s so small so you have to curl segments of your lashes at a time instead of all at once so it’s a little awkward. The mascara on the other hand is fab- inky black and has a nice dense brush which makes application a breeze.
Gigi Gorgeous The Only Blush Duo in Authentic + Pride – $24 value
This month Ipsy collaborated with Gigi Gorgeous so all boxes included one of the collab products. I received the Gigi Gorgeous blush duo which includes a matte peach blush and a glittery pink blush. I was not impressed with the pigment on this duo- it’s really subtle. I like the matte peach shade but not the pink one since it has so much glitter in it. I’m not a fan of collab products (they’re usually cheaply made/of sub-par quality) so hopefully Ipsy stops including them in their boxes.
Belle En Argent Auteur Creme Lip Color in Smoking On Screen – $26 value
The final item in my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus this month is this vegan Belle En Argent lip color. I received the shade “Smoking On Screen” which is a rich berry shade that’s dramatic and gorgeous! I usually stick with nudes but this lippy is inspiring me change up my makeup game! The formula is creamy, moisturizing, and ultra richly pigmented. Only downside is it’s a cream so you definitely need to wear lip liner to prevent the color from migrating.
This Ipsy Glam Bag Plus includes a nice variety of beauty products and is a great value for the $25 price. It’s worth $137 which I feel is a tremendous value for $25! I wasn’t a huge fan of the blush duo but I did like all of the other products so overall this box is a win.
