Here’s a quick overview on how Haverdash works:
Now, let’s talk about what you get!
For $59 per month with free shipping, you get 3 pieces of clothing at a time but monthly rotations are unlimited so you can get several boxes in a month to really get your money’s worth if you’re quick with sending items back. You can even notify Haverdash in your online account that you will be returning your items soon so they’ll begin prepping your next box to get it to you even quicker! (see how it says “return notified” in the pic from my account above) Plus- you can purchase items you love at discounted prices. Shipping and returns are free and there’s no cleaning fees or hidden fees of any sort- you pay $59 per month and get as many styles as you want!
All of the clothing arrives very neatly packed inside a Haverdash box. A prepaid return envelope is included so returns are quick, easy, and free! Just drop the envelope in your mailbox, at your local post office, or arrange for free pickup. Each Haverdash box you receive will include three pieces of clothing which is handpicked by your very own personal stylist. The pieces are chosen based on your style quiz answers and the items you add to your online Haverdash closet.
Once you’re signed up, fill your online closet with your favorite styles on the Haverdash website to provide your stylist with even more guidance on your style preferences. Check out what’s currently in my Haverdash closet above. In addition, you can prioritize pieces in your closet to let your stylist know which pieces you want to receive first. This feature is great if you have a special occasion coming up and want to wear a particular outfit! They recommend closeting at least 8 pieces.
Haverdash offers a fantastic range of on-trend contemporary women’s clothing brands including Leota, Collective Concepts, Hayden Los Angeles, Lost + Wander, French Connection, Cupcakes and Cashmere, and Moon River. See a sneak peek of a few of the current styles available above. Glancing through their inventory expect to see covet-worthy styles including breezy floral maxi dresses, midi skirts, trendy jumpsuits, feminine blouses, printed pants, and cropped denim. If you like shopping at Nordstrom, Shopbop, Zara, Anthropologie, and J.Crew, you’ll probably love Haverdash.
There’s size charts for every piece of clothing on Haverdash which makes it really easy to choose the right size and best of all, they provide measurements for every size in every style so there’s no guesswork on which size is right for you! In addition, there’s also a size advisor feature which helps you select the correct size based on sizes you currently wear in other brands and there’s reviews from subscribers that have already worn the piece so you’ll get their take on sizing which is also helpful.
For this Haverdash box, I received three pieces that I added to my online closet- a dress, a top, and a skirt.

French Connection Flutter Sleeve Red Coral Cerisier Dress – Size 12, Retail price – $158, Price To Keep – $62.50 (60% Off Discount)
I don’t usually wear red so I thought I’d go out of my comfort zone when I closeted this French Connection maxi dress. That’s one reason why I love clothing rental subscriptions- you can try styles that are out of your fashion comfort zone without commitment which makes me more open to trying styles I would normally shy away from- and sometimes I end up loving them! Anyhow, this lovely red maxi dress is made of a flowy, lightweight rayon material which glides over curves for a figure-flattering fit. There’s no stretch in this material so be sure to get the right size. I went with a size 12 and it fit perfectly. The delicate white and black floral print on the vibrant red background is so eye-catching, I love it! Plus, there’s an adjustable string belt to accentuate the waist and two front slits for a surprise peek-a-boo effect while still being demure and classy. The layered v-neckline is pretty low so if you’re not comfortable with a little cleavage, you may need to wear a cami underneath or tack it with a pin for more coverage. The short layered ruffle sleeves add a feminine fun touch and there’s a size zipper so putting this dress on is a cinch. I paired this dress with a pair of black patent leather Jimmy Choo espadrilles for a casual cool look.
Calvin Klein Mixed Print A-Line Skirt – Size 14, Retail price – $89, Price To Keep – $57 (35% Off Discount)
Next up is another item that is outside my fashion comfort zone. This multi-print patchwork midi skirt by Calvin Klein is totally trendy and definitely a compliment-grabber! It features a mix of multi-color and black & white floral prints plus polka dots done up in an airy poly fabric with an a-line, midi length fit. There’s a side zipper and it’s lined too. I got this in a size 14 and it fit great. I was surprised by how much I liked this fun skirt! I paired it with the same espadrilles and a Talbots black knit sweater top with ruffle sleeves.
Kensie Ruffle Sleeve Smocked Yoke Blouse – Size XL, Retail price – $89, Price To Keep – $58.50 (34% Off Discount)
Last in the box is this jade green blouse by Kensie. I gravitate towards green and love floral prints and ruffle details so I knew I had to add it to my Haverdash closet! I got it in a size XL which was a smidge big in the armholes but not unwearable. This top is made of a lightweight breezy poly fabric- sheer on the top layer and lined with an opaque layer- and has a yoke front, ruffle details at the sleeve, and a white floral print throughout. So casual and cute, perfect for the weekends! I paired it with Ann Taylor crop khaki pants and Ann Taylor camel suede tassel loafer slides.
This Haverdash box was great! I had fun trying styles that took me out of my fashion comfort zone- and ended up liking them! With the exception of the armholes on the Kensie top being a bit big, everything for the most part fit and all three items I received I had saved in my “closet” so it’s nice that they actually listen and send what you want. I already sent back the items in my box and am eager to get my next Haverdash box! The price $59 per month for unlimited styles seems like a steal too- you can easily get three boxes worth of clothing in one month so I feel that Haverdash is a great value for the price.
