111 Skin NAC Y2 Pollution Defence Booster – $135
Right off the bat, we’re starting off with a full size $135 skin product! This product alone is worth more than 5x’s the cost of this box ($25)– nice BoxyCharm! This skin booster contains “the novel NAC Y2 formula” which is a unique blend of active ingredients including peptides & antioxidants designed to improve visible signs of aging and damage. It protects skin against pollution as well as screen-emitted artificial visible light to maintain healthy skin. Using this booster is super simple- just add a drop or two to your favorite moisturizer and apply to cleansed skin. The formula is clear and serum-like, it feels slippery on the skin and absorbs pretty quickly. I haven’t noticed a difference in my skin yet, but will continue use for a few weeks to really give it a fair assessment.
Hourglass Arch Brow Micro Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette – $28
My sparse brows need all the help they can get so I’m always on the lookout for a great brow pencil and this Hourglass one is pretty fab! It has the pencil on one end and a spoolie on the other. The pencil is super duper fine so you can add tiny hair-like strokes to your brows resulting in a very natural look. The color I received is “dark brunette” which is a soft taupe shade that works great with my dark brown brows.
Pur Cosmetics Festival 2.0 Eyeshadow Palette – $36
Every BoxyCharm includes at least one palette and this July box contains the Pur Cosmetics Festival 2.0 palette! I just love the fun holographic packaging! This eyeshadow palette is packed with 12 shades in a pressed pigment formula so they’re buttery soft, ultra pigmented, and a cinch to apply and blend. You’ll find warm and cool shades inside plus this palette also has a built-in mirror which is always a plus.
Grace & Stella Anti-Wrinkle + Energizing Eye Masks, Box of 12 Pairs – $21
Grace & Stella is a brand I’ve previously received in FabFitFun box (their face mist is nice) so while I’m familiar with the brand, I have not tried a ton of their products. That said, I was impressed that a whopping 12 pairs of eye masks are included in the box and was eager to try them out. The shimmery gold hydrogel masks and packaging looks luxe and fun and I like the idea that they’re “an energy drink for your eyes”. Alas, these indeed provide a mega dose of moisture to eyes though I believe that’s all they do as I didn’t notice any other benefits like de-puffing. They were really relaxing overall to use and I’m glad I have a nice stash of them to use when my eyes need a little hydration help.
Doucce Fierce & Fine Graphic Pen – $21
I used to never use liquid eye liner pencils due to not being apply to apply them without looking like a rabid raccoon of sorts. Thankfully I discovered fine tip liquid liner pencils like this Doucce version. The fine tip makes application a breeze- even for a newbie! You can easily draw a thin or thick line and flick out the edge of a wing without qualms. This liner “pen” features a jet black highly pigmented formula that dries quickly and really stays put!
I am so impressed with this July 2020 BoxyCharm – it includes a full size skincare product worth $135 PLUS four other full sized products! The mix of makeup and skincare is perfection and I like the brands too. This box variation is worth $241 and costs just $25. At $25, you’re paying a mere $5 for each product– an amazing deal for sure! If you love makeup, I highly recommend that you sign up for BoxyCharm now so you don’t miss out on this month and future boxes!
Is this box still available?
If you sign up for BoxyCharm now, your first box will be July 2020. Keep in mind there are several variations each month so your box contents may vary from what I received.
