HydroPeptide Hydroactive Cleanse Micellar Facial Cloths – Full Size, 30 Cloths, $20 value
These HydroPeptide facial cleansing cloths are infused with a mix of micellar and activated water that gently whisks away dirt and makeup (even eye makeup!) and also hydrates, nourishes, and protects skin with a bevy of natural botanicals including sacred lotus, peptides, and antioxidants. Each package contains 30 lightly textured cloths. I am loving these facial cloths- they purify skin leaving it feeling ultra refreshed without drying it out!
Dr. Brandt Clean Biotic pH-Balanced Yogurt Cleanser with Chlorophyll – Full Size, $35 value
I was most excited to receive this full size Dr. Brandt cleanser (which by the way alone is worth $10 more than the cost of this BeautyFix box!) and was not disappointed! This light green-hued pH balanced facial cleanser has a “jelly-ish” texture and is packed with a blend of yogurt, hyaluronic acid, chlorophyll, green tea, and grapeseed extract to cleanse, balance, and soothe skin. It leaves skin feeling soft and clean, not stripped.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm – 20g, $14 value
I just received this same exact product in the May 2020 GlossyBox but I’m not complaining because I love this stuff! Here’s my thoughts on this amazing Elemis balm from that review–
Elemis is one of my favorite skincare brands so getting anything from this luxe line is a real treat! Each May box includes a generously sized jar of their cult-favorite pro-collagen cleansing balm which deep cleanses skin removing makeup, oil, and dirt in a flash. The balmy formula smells heavenly and contains rose and mimosa waxes, starflower, elderberry, and optimega oils to not only cleanse but also nourish skin. You can even leave this balm on for ten minutes like a mask for even deeper detoxifying!
DHC Mild Lotion – 1 Fl Oz, $9.06 value
Toning is an often overlooked skincare routine step and I’ll admit it’s something I often skip unless I had makeup on and want to make sure every speck has been cleared out of my pores. This DHC “lotion” (it’s called lotion but it’s a toner) reminds me how much I do like the extra fresh way my skin feels after toning so I may just add the step into my skincare routine more often. The formula is gentle and super refreshing thanks to the addition of soothing, cooling cucumber.
By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder – 1.3g, $12 value
If you’re going to wear makeup in the heat, setting it is an essential step and this By Terry loose powder is just the thing to keep makeup from sliding off your face. The powder looks white but sets to a matte, colorless finish that glides over pores to not only keep makeup in place but also give skin a dose of moisture thanks to the hyaluronic acid it’s infused with.
Skin Inc Supplement Bar Lines Be-Gone Rose Gold Mask – 1 Set, 2 Pieces, $12 value
While I loved the look and feel of this k-beauty mask- it’s made of a hydrogel that’s gold colored with tiny gold flecks- I was not so impressed with the fit of the top piece which was too small around the eye and nose area so the mask didn’t lay flat there. The bottom piece was great, and I like the cooling feel and plumping effect it gives skin. There’s just enough serum to cover the face so nothing goes to waste. Key ingredients include vitamin A, rose, and a variety of floral extracts.
SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 – 4ml, $2.72 value
SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator – 3.7g, $11.62 value
Rounding out this month’s BeautyFix box are two mini-size products- a SkinCeuticals sunscreen and a SkinMedica moisturizer. While the tubes are pretty tiny, I can see why they’re included in this warm weather beauty themed box. You gotta have an effective sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun’s damaging rays and a good moisturizer to keep skin hydrated and both of these products fit the bill perfectly! The SkinCeuticals sunscreen provides SPF 50, is water-resistant, and lightly tinted and the pricey SkinMedica hydrator contains hyaluronic acid to deliver 8 hours of moisture whilst feeling light on the skin.
The May BeautyFix box is a skincare enthusiast’s dream as there’s a little bit of everything (including a few full sizes!) to keep skin in tip-top shape! I feel that this box is also well curated to the warm weather skin essentials theme and it’s an awesome value for the price too! This box is worth $116.40 which is more than 4x’s the $24.95 box price. Want this box? Grab it at Dermstore.com by 5/31!
Is this box still available?
Yes! If you sign up for BeautyFix before 5/31, your first box will be May!
