All of the live plants arrive bubble wrapped and packed in foam peanuts inside the box. Succulents Box mentions on their site that you may have loose dirt inside the box and that was the case for me. Just an FYI- you might want to open the box outside or over your sink so it’s easy to clean up any runaway dirt.
Inside the box you’ll also find a helpful care instructions card plus a small card that tells you the variety of each succulent plant in your box.
Each month, the succulents are chosen by the team at Succulents Box so the plants in your box will vary from month to month.
The care card is very helpful, especially if you are new to caring for succulents!
Succulents are pretty low-maintenance which makes them a great starter plant for anyone! No green thumb required!
Here’s the four plants I received in my box! One of the plants in my box arrived a bit damaged (some of the leaves fell off during shipment) but no worries, because Succulents Box will replace any damaged plants. Simply email them with a pic of the plant in question and they’ll make it right for you!
According to the info cards I received-
- 1 Little Warty
- 1 Blue Fairy
- 2 Moonglow
The plants arrive in small plastic pots and can be easily re-potted into another container.
I will be transferring mine to a larger pot to create a small succulent garden for my desk!
I am loving my succulents so far! They’re super low-maintenance (you only water them once every 1-2 weeks and they do great indoors!) and are lovely to look at plus at $6.96 per plant (the $5 cost per plant plus the $7.85 shipping cost divided evenly four ways), I feel they’re a good value based on the prices I’ve seen at local nurseries for similar varieties.
