SinglesSwag is a monthly women’s lifestyle subscription box that includes an array of organic beauty products, delicious treats, jewelry & accessories and other special surprises to uplift and empower single women.
SinglesSwag offers two subscription boxes:
- SinglesSwag Petite – includes 3-4 full size products for $24.99 per month
- SinglesSwag – includes 5-7 full size products for $39.99 per month
This month’s theme is New Year’s Resolution: Love Yourself More. The included card comes with detailed information on all the items plus pricing per item, and a total retail value.
Here’s everything in the box!
Now, let’s talk about each item individually-
Manna Kadar Miracle Balm ($19)
Yay to lip balm! I know it’s not the most original, but I can always use more lip balm. This one is actually quite interesting because it feels more like lotion rather than a waxy balm, and so far I’m finding that very enjoyable.
Nico New York Silver Bar Necklace ($64)
I was so excited to see this necklace in this month’s SinglesSwag! I almost bought something just like it last year and have regretted not buying it since then. I really like the style and I’m happy it’s in silver. However I do think the item seems a little bit overpriced, especially considering the chain is a bit thick for me, looks a little on the cheaper side, and can’t be changed out.
Spongelle Pedi Buffer ($16)
I was so excited to get this pedi buffer! My feet get so pampered during the summer when I’m getting pedicures and always seem to get neglected during the winter, so I felt like this was a well-timed item to include in the box. I think this is one of those items that’s not seen as frequently in sub boxes (as opposed to lotions and facial masks) so it feels practical and slightly different.
Zoe Ayla Classy Rose Gold Eyelash Curler ($40)
I personally don’t use an eyelash curler as I have pretty curled eyelashes naturally, but my mom does, so I’ll be gifting this to her! I imagine eyelash curlers are one of those things you likely should replace (or at least clean) often for hygiene purposes, and I imagine most people don’t, so I was actually quite happy to see this item in this month’s box. It’s an item I think people do use, that they likely won’t buy a replacement of themselves, that often isn’t seen in subscription boxes. My only qualm here is $40 for an eyelash curler seems like a lot.
Purlisse Watermelon Energizing 6-Piece Mask Set ($38)
I’m not surprised to see facial masks included in this “love yourself” themed box, but I wish it was a three pack or a variation pack instead of six of the same mask. The watermelon smell is nice, the facial shape good, and the serum moisturizing, but I feel like six of the same mask is a lot.
Socada Milk Chocolate Bar ($5)
Yay to sweets! I appreciate this New Years Resolution box has chocolate and a focus on loving yourself, rather than a focus on dieting. The chocolate was tasty, but I feel like more of a bonus in the box than anything else.
Headbands of Hope Black Confetti Beanie ($32)
This is a cute beanie, and a company with a nice cause as well. For every item sold, a headband is donated to a child with cancer. It’s nice to see a cause-conscious company featured in this month’s box. The beanie itself is quite soft and stretchy, and the black is versatile while the confetti spots keep it fun.
This month’s theme was the concept of loving yourself more as your New Years Resolution. I think the box including some pampering items like the facial masks, pedi buffer, and miracle balm plus some more fashion related “treat yourself” type items made this theme come across pretty strongly. While the $214 box value for the $39.99 cost of the box is great, I will say some of the items seemed slightly overpriced for me, making the box value not seem quite as accurate. I personally wouldn’t have spent $40 on the eyelash curler nor would I have spent $64 on the silver bar necklace, but I’m still happy to have both and think the box value is incredibly strong regardless!
Is this box still available?
