About BeautyFix Box:

BeautyFix is a monthly beauty subscription box by Dermstore that includes $100+ in luxury skincare and beauty products for $24.95 per month. Some of the brands you’ll find in BeautyFix include Lancer,Tammy Fender, Dermalogica, Skinceuticals, Dr. Brandt, Peter Thomas Roth, Murad, and Erno Laszlo.

Inside each BeautyFix box, you’ll find a fold-out card that lists all of the products along with the monthly theme. This month it’s all about Self-Love!

The February 2019 BeautyFix box includes products by Lancer, R+Co, Smith & Cult, and more!

Keep scrolling for more details!

R+Co High Dive Moisture + Shine Creme – 0.5 Fl. Oz. size, $2.90 value

Creamy and lightweight, this R+Co hair cream not only tames frizz and flyaways, but also adds major shine and smells amazing!

Lancer Skincare Studio Filter Pore Perfecting Primer – Full Size, $58 value

The first full size product in this month’s BeautyFix box is this pricey Lancer primer! This peach-hued primer fills in oversized pores, blurs imperfections, and smoothes skin leaving it perfectly prepped for makeup! It’s lightweight and provides a boost of hydration too!

Verso Hydration Serum – 10ml size, $32.98 value

Verso is a new-to-me Swedish brand so I was excited to give this serum a try! It’s formulated with niacinamide and vitamin E to fight the signs of aging, improve enlarged pores, boost moisture, and banish dark spots. A little goes a long way and the formula is a bit watery so be careful when dispensing. It sinks into skin quickly and leaving it velvety smooth.

Cosrx One Step Original Clear Pad – Set of 2 Pads, $0.56 value

These k-beauty facial pads are soaked in blemish-fighting toner that also removes excess oil and balances the complexion. I love how these pads are textured so they really remove impurities and that they don’t smell overly medicinal.

Smith & Cult B Line Eye Pen – Full Size, $26 value

I have a lifetime supply of black liquid eyeliner pencils thanks to subscription boxes so while I was not excited to get this Smith & Cult liner in my box, it is a great product and it’s a full size which I can always appreciate! The formula is richly pigmented and is a breeze to apply thanks to the fine precision tip!

MDSolarSciences Daily Eye Repair Emulsion – 5ml size, $17 value

Unfortunately it seems like 3/4th of this tube is filled with air so it’s a bit difficult to get the product out without squirting it all out at once. Nonetheless, this eye cream is rich and balmy and provides deep hydration to eyes without feeling heavy. Key ingredients include ProVentin-R (chamomile, seaweed extract, caffeine, aloe, niacinamide), vitamin C, rosemary extract, and green tea.

ORA Lip Plumping Roller – $28 value

The last item in this month’s BeautyFix box is this lip plumping roller by ORA. To be honest, I was a little afraid of this beauty gadget as I wasn’t sure what to expect and it does seem a bit gimmicky. Luckily, there’s no reason to be afraid as the needles are super fine so using the roller is pain-free and does not have any side effects. To use, simply roll over lips to allow the needles to gently penetrate the skin, which in turn purportedly helps to stimulate collagen and elastin production resulting in plumper, smoother lips. This roller can also be used on the face and body to help reduce scars, fine lines, and wrinkles plus it can improve absorption of skincare products. The roller is easy to use and seems to add slight plumpness to lips though I don’t see myself using this regularly.

Verdict:

This month’s BeautyFix was just not my favorite. While I love the Lancer primer and R+Co hair cream, I was underwhelmed with another black liquid liner and I’m not into the Ora lip plumper. Hopefully next month BeautyFix will include some amazing full size skincare products as that’s what I’ve come to expect each month and is what made me love BeautyFix to begin with! Regardless, the value is there as this box is worth well over the $24.95 cost at $165.44.

Is this box still available?

Yes! As of the publishing date of this article, if you sign up for Dermstore BeautyFix now, your first box will be February 2019!
